Compute use should be understood in relation to a defined task. Track the configuration and workload behind any efficiency claim rather than generalizing from an isolated benchmark.
Design for purpose
Choose evaluation frequency, model routing, retention, and storage according to the mission. Avoid retaining sensitive content simply because storage is available.
